Welcome everyone. As you may know, I've put on hold a career in IT to travel the world. Somehow I seem to have swapped it for a new job... Photography. I seem to spend the best part of each day taking Liam's direction on how to optimally capture a snap of him. So far, he has insisted on taking photographs of everything and anything that looks like it might stay still for 5 seconds. As you might gather from reading his link, he enjoys being the centre of every photograph which means I am the gimp left holding the camera.
The highlight of the trip so far has been wandering around graveyards and looking at 2-headed babies. Beautiful.
I'm off to Moscow tonight. Liam is coming too. He's planning to stay in the 3rd class carriage with 53 Russians to, as he put it himself, "mix things up with the locals". I've chosen the safer 2nd class option sharing a compartment with 3 others. I reckon I'll be safe in the top bunk. My prayers (and Swiss Army knife) are with Liam.
